I pledge a "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" review!
Great link from BoingBoing on the upcoming videogame based on the Left Behind
book series -- Imagine: you are a foot soldier in a paramilitary group whose purpose is to remake America as a Christian theocracy, and establish its worldly vision of the dominion of Christ over all aspects of life. You are issued high-tech military weaponry, and instructed to engage the infidel on the streets of New York City.
Schweet. Kinda reminds me of Postal; another classic. (Where IS my copy of that?) But the kicker for me is a couple of links in, in an LA Times article: To generate buzz for "Eternal Forces," Lyndon and Frichner plan to distribute 1 million sample discs to churches nationwide.
W00t!! Who's gonna get me one of those babies!!? If I can get one, I promise a review over at Nerdware Review (where I owe an Auto Assault review right now, actually...). Some churchgoer, hook me up!!

I just read about this yesterday and I was going to blast the list for not saying anything about it but now I'm glad I didn't. I added a calendar entry at the end of October to remind me to seek it out. Finally a game where I can play the 'bad' guy without feeling guilty - I can't wait!

LOL! Indeed. It looks awesome. Just FYI, I haven't mentioned it on the list yet b/c Bob and I have been busy playing the Postal2 demo (and game, I went ahead and bought it, it's so awesomely bad. They deserved payment for it.) Bob says even the demo allows online play, though, so I was going to suggest on the list that we hook up and try it out!

I have read that you can play it as the anti-christ. I will buy it if that is the case. I need to practice since all us Jews will be 'left behind.'
