Access to the requested URL is not allowed!

That's what Saudi Arabians saw if they tried to view Blogger, Flickr, or LiveJournal yesterday. Blogger.com access has apparently been restored as of today, but not Flickr or LiveJournal.

Note: I'm not particularly surprised by this (hell, it's now illegal to sell "violent video games" to children in California, Illinois, and Michigan), but it's still somewhat surreal. Of course, the other HUGE Internet censor is China, and well...what once was a Communist enemy, now makes all our stuff. And holds big hunks of our national debt.

I hear at one time we were interested in being a shining beacon to the world. *sigh*
